Anquin LLP builds and runs AI and software products. This notice explains what happens to personal data when you visit anquin.com or contact us through it.
It covers this website only. Our products are separate services on their own domains, and each publishes its own privacy notice for the data it handles. If you use Padhify, the notice that applies to you is Padhify’s, not this one.
Who we are#
Anquin LLP is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary. Under laws that use a different word for the same role, we are the controller.
You can reach us at contact@anquin.com about anything on this page.
For anything about privacy specifically, including a request to see, correct, or delete your data, write to privacy@anquin.com. That address is our published point of contact under the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and a person reads it.
What we collect#
There are only two ways personal data reaches us through this website.
- What you send us
- If you email us, we receive whatever you put in the message. Normally that is your name, your email address, and whatever you chose to tell us. There is no form on this site, so nothing is collected until you decide to write to us.
- What our host records
- Serving a page produces a server log. It holds the request, the time, the IP address it came from, and the browser user agent string. Our hosting provider generates these as part of running the service, and we use them to keep the site working and to investigate abuse.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a phone number, a payment method, or a government identifier anywhere on this site. There are no accounts and nothing to log in to.
Why we use it, and on what basis#
- Answering you
- We use what you send us to reply, and to keep a record of the conversation. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act this rests on your having voluntarily given us the data for that purpose. Where the GDPR applies, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business.
- Keeping the site up and safe
- We use server logs to diagnose faults, to see whether the site is being attacked, and to block abuse. Where the GDPR applies, the basis is our legitimate interest in the security and availability of our own service.
We do not use anything collected here to build a profile of you, to target advertising, or to make an automated decision about you.
Who else sees it#
We do not sell personal data and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing. A small number of providers process it on our behalf because they run the infrastructure this site depends on.
- Vercel
- Hosts and serves this website. Every request to anquin.com passes through Vercel, which produces the server logs described above. Vercel also provides the two measurement products named under Cookies and analytics, so the page view and page speed data described there is processed by the same company that already serves the page.
That is the entire list as the site stands today. Anything else the site comes to depend on gets added here before the change ships, not after.
There is no contact form on this site, so no bot mitigation or email delivery provider sits between you and us. If we ever add one, it is named above before it goes live.
We will also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where it is processed#
Our hosting provider runs a global network, so a request may be served and logged outside the country you are in, including outside India.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act permits personal data to be transferred outside India except to countries the Government restricts by notification. We do not transfer personal data to any restricted country. If that list changes in a way that affects where this site is served, we will move the processing rather than keep quiet about it.
How long we keep it#
- Messages you send us
- Kept while the conversation is live, and afterwards for as long as we may need the record. Ask us to delete a thread and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Server logs
- Kept for a short operational window by our hosting provider and then discarded. We do not copy them anywhere else.
We keep personal data only while it is still doing the job it was collected for, and we do not archive it once that job is finished. Where you ask us to delete something sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights#
Whichever law applies where you are, you can ask us the same things and we answer the same way. Email contact@anquin.com and tell us what you want.
- Ask what personal data of yours we hold, and get a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct anything wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Ask us to stop using it, or object to a use that rests on our legitimate interest.
- Ask that a person, rather than a form, looks at your request.
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it give you these rights as a Data Principal, together with the right to nominate someone to exercise them if you die or become unable to act. If we cannot resolve a grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to data portability and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another United States state with a consumer privacy law, the same requests apply. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling, so there is nothing here for you to opt out of. Making a request will not get you treated differently.
We may need to check that a request really comes from you before acting on it. We will not ask for more than that check needs.
Making a request or a complaint#
Everything in this notice runs through one address: privacy@anquin.com. Use it to exercise any of the rights above, to withdraw consent you have given us, or to complain about how we have handled your personal data. You do not need a form, a template, or a particular form of words.
We answer as quickly as we can, and in any case within ninety days of receiving your request, which is the period the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 set. If we need longer to do something properly, we will tell you why rather than let the clock run out.
If you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with a grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. We would rather you came to us first, but you are not required to.
Children#
This is a company website. It is not aimed at children and nothing on it is built for them.
Our products are a different matter. Padhify is used by students, some of whom are children, and the rules for their data are set out in Padhify’s own privacy notice rather than here. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act treats anyone under eighteen as a child and requires verifiable parental consent before a child’s personal data is processed.
Padhify sets a minimum age of thirteen. Because the Digital Personal Data Protection Act treats everyone under eighteen as a child, Padhify treats every user under eighteen as a child too, rather than only those under thirteen. What that means in practice, including how parental consent is obtained, is set out in Padhify’s own privacy notice.
How we protect it#
This site is served only over HTTPS, sends a strict Content Security Policy with a fresh nonce on every request, and loads no third party scripts. Access to the systems behind it is limited to the people who need it.
We are not going to claim more than that. Anquin holds no security certification, has not been through an external audit, and does not run a paid bug bounty. If you find a problem, our vulnerability disclosure policy explains how to tell us.
Changes to this notice#
When this notice changes we update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use personal data we already hold, we will say so rather than leave you to spot the difference.
